‘She looked out on the fields and trees and her heart was glad’
It’s difficult to visit this abandoned cottage in County Offaly without being absorbed by a sense of poignancy and nostalgia. How many hopes, plans and dreams were created over the generations by this simple vista?  Not it just stares blindly into a future.
