An abandoned farmhouse in rural County Roscommon. The number of these derelict sites dotted across Roscommon and the surrounding counties bear a sad testiment to the hardship of eeking a living from small plots of land in unyielding environments. Sadly, emigration robbed many of these subsistence farms of their future generations and they now sit as silent reminders of an Ireland long gone..... but never forgotten.
